A collection of expressive black ink drawings that tap into the primal language of line and gesture. The work feels both ceremonial and contemporary. Each piece is a ritual, done in continuous ink- where archetypes and visions are captured. Seeming to come from another realm, these entities are ancient, alien, sacred, and a bit strange. They seem to be channeled rather than composed, arising as if they were summoned. The figures aren’t meant to be fully known, but felt, speaking to the side of perception that is symbolic. This collection explores the architecture of emotion, thought and transformation, while inviting the viewer to decode concepts beyond language.
